Applefest

The hubby has always said that Autumn is his favorite season and I'm starting to warm up to the cool weather season. It seems that with the changing leaves and the bite in the air also comes one of my favorite things, Street Fairs and Flea Markets! So October began on a high note, a cousin's wedding and a day in spent with family at Warwick, NY's Applefest.

Two generations.

Who would have guessed that I would find an antique store along the way?  Couldn't leave that to chance. I scouted this place out before hand and it I am so happy I did.

Scattered cooking supplies and tools filled the shelves.

I loved this display of rows of vintage rolling pins.

Then we made our way to Applefest which is a Street Fair along the main drag in Warwick, NY. There we ate BBQ...

Sampled dips, and sauces, and wine...

admired beautiful floral displays in vintage pickups...

picked up some apples for apple pie...

and sampled the local apple cider.
